This systematically constructed bibliography contains more than 1400 works including dictionaries, bibliographies, books, monographs, articles and important court rulings on the Turkish legislation in English.
In recent years, the interest of the Turkish legislation has risen sharply. It plays in the practice of German courts and administrative authorities, especially given the large number of Turkish living in Germany nationals and the intense German-Turkish relations in the fields of economy and tourism is a significant role. In addition, the efforts of Turkey for EU membership and the positive decision by the EU membership negotiations with Turkey, the Turkish interest in the law also increased. Nevertheless, so far no such precise bibliography about the Turkish justice in German. This work has been sought in this area to fill existing gaps and thus the researchers and all interested parties to provide important information.
The Authors
Hediye Laciner studied law in Ankara and Istanbul. She doctorated on "The change in working conditions in Turkish and German labour law" at the Law Faculty at the University of Passau. Since 1995 she is Research Fellow at the Institute of Labour and Social Law at the Marmara University in Istanbul.
Vedat Laciner studied law in Ankara and Istanbul. He doctorated on "The temporary work contracts in Turkish and German labour law" at the Law Faculty at the University of Passau. He is the author and expert advisors for the Turkish labour and social legislation.
