On 24 September 1981 four Armenian terrorists occupy the Turkish Consulate General in Paris. During their entry into the building, the Consul, Kaya İnal, and a security guard, Cemal Özen, are seriously wounded. Terrorists take 56 hostages. Özen dies of his injuries in the hospital. The terrorists are Armenian terrorist organization ASALA members.
