On 20 June 1984 a bomb exploded in a car belonging to Erdogan Özen, Assistant Labor and Social Affairs Counselor at the Turkish Embassy in Vienna (Austria). Özen was killed and five Austrian citizens seriously wounded, including a policeman. Armenian ARA terrorists claimed credit for the crime.
