Two bombs explode near Swiss offices in West Beirut 0n 10 October 1980. An Armenian terrorist group calling itself "October 3" claims responsibility for these bombings as well as others on the same day against Swiss offices in England. The New York Times reported on 1 March 1980 that Armenians in Lebanon generally approve of the Armenian terrorism against Turkish diplomats.
