Marmara daily
'Marmara' (or Nor Marmara)is İstanbul daily newspaper published in Armenian.

It was established in 1940.

It was a weekly newspaper initially but later became a daily because of the people's intense interest. Rober Haddeler took over the responsibility for the newspaper in 1967 and it has now been published as a daily in Armenian for 63 years. Nor Marmara, which cannot be published on Sundays due to difficulties created by distribution, has four pages and is published six days a week.

The Marmara is sold daily between 1200-2000. This rate changes due to the season. Armenian newspapers are sold better in summer, because most Armenians scattered all over Istanbul are gethered at the Islands(especially Kinaliada) and the national feelings become stronger.
